Our client is a leading supplier of equipment to the power industry. Following successful expansion into America and Australasia they have an increasing portfolio of installed plant and equipment in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) region.

With a long term commitment to research and development, they are at the leading edge of technology. Their Power Systems Division provides products and services to the power industry. The Division specialises in thermal (turbine and generator), hydraulic, geo-thermal and renewable energy systems and power transmission and distribution.

They are currently looking is to strengthen its EMEA team working out of their Greater London office with the addition of a Technical Adviser.

Job Purpose

·         Provide Technical Advice for maintenance on steam turbine-generator plant and auxiliaries to supervisors, sub-contractors and customers within the scope of demonstrated experience and training

·         Perform supervision, site and project management activities at various times as determined by department workload

·         Assist in preparing tender proposals by estimating and preparing works programs supporting business development managers in responding to technical queries

·         Develop close working relationships with relevant personnel

·         Contribute to a positive company culture through effective relationship management with all personnel (includes site workers)

·         Contribute to ongoing business development through effective relationship management with clients

·         Continuously seek opportunities for improvement in consultation with relevant personnel and implement change as may be agreed or directed
